The Fourth Estate has pissed me off
Thanks to NPR's comprehensive coverage, I was forced to listen to W reiterate the same exact message points concerning his war on Iraq that he's been spouting all along. "We're staying the course..." "Weapons of mass destruction..." and so on and so forth. Whatever him! Did no one ever tell him that he's President of the entire country and not just his power base? Certainly not the press. Though, I suppose I must give them credit for toughening up some on the questions they posed.
Why did no one ask the President about the economy? Not one reporter asked about jobs. Oh no, each and every question asked was about Iraq or terrorism. And again, the American public's attention is diverted. Day-um.
